St Mary, Hethersgill is one of four churches in the benefice of Bewcastle, Stapleton and Kirklinton with Hethersgill. Sunday services alternate with those of St Cuthbert's Kirklinton. We have a small, friendly congregation, deeply embedded in the local farming community and open to all. You will find a warm welcome and a friendly face when you visit.
Together with St Cuthbert Kirklinton we hold a Big Breakfast at Hethersgill Hall on the last Sunday of January, a Summer Fair, a Harvest Lunch on the last Sunday of September, and a Christmas Fair each year.
